I doubt any active elder/MS is going to divulge the State he is in, let alone the City.

You wouldn't perchance be right by a stone bridge crossing the Hudson, would you?

"When in doubt, duck!"
Farkel, you're good.
BTW, NYC is bigggggggg! You'd never guess my ID.

are you saying you are an Elder or an active JDub in NYC?
you wouldn't be the one who found that bug planted in the GB meeting room table at Bethel, say sometime in the early 80's, would you? You know the one where they would meet/met ever Wednesday? That table was bigggggggg too! It's even bigggggggger when half of them are snoring.
No, not a servant. But I am female. I don't know of the meeting you're talking about. I just wanted to know how many "active" ones post on this board. As a matter of fact, I'm inactive, get upset every time I 'have' to go to a meeting.

Jonnie,
First of all...welcome to the board! I look forward to reading more of your posts. I am Dallas, TX.
There are active dubs on this board. Some are with a congregational status and a lot of family still in the organization. So I'm sure you understand why they won't come forward to answer your questions. If they are discovered on this board they may lose family, businesses, status in the congregation that helps us here, etc. They have a lot at risk!
I guess my question is what difference does it make? We are all here to learn from one another and encourage one another. Congregational status doesn't amount to a hill of beans on this board. We're all human and have a history to share.

Thanks Andi. You're right. This seems a good place to find friends. I know that no one at the KH seems to have an interest in me. Barely a hello when intering the hall. I've done nothing wrong except I don't like going out in service. Hate it actually.

I've only recently joined here, but I used to visit H20 when I was an active witness. I had a very difficult time arguing with all YOU apostates. Just think, 3 years ago I couldn't spell apostate, now I R one.
Hi JonnieMae,
I'm so glad you posted. I'm sorry I never got back to you:(
The reason my repsonce to your post listed my address as Ed is because it's my husbands computer. I didn't find out about your reply until just recently.

Some of us used to be active elders when we first started posting. And some of us still live in NYC (hi, neighbor!)
