No wonder many people say that the WTS. is controlled by Satan the Devil for its devious misinterpretation of the bible and its money
procuring agenda. Directed by God's spirit HARDLY, directed by mans will and desire for money and power or the devils more than
likely. One thing that has to be noted with these bogus religious cults is just when they are on the verge of running its course there
always seem to be a corralling or gathering up the percured money just like the WTS. is doing right now.
Maybe its take the money and run time now, ........the Jig is up

Interesting question Homer. Back in the early 1970s when the Watchtower started the special tract work, it was Kingdom News something and we were required to distribute a tract to everyone in our congregation's territory in just two weeks. At the time I was young and didn't know the truth about the "Truth." Anyway I was out the the field service and I gave a tact to this older gentleman, and he starts thumbing through it and notes that it is printed by the Watchtower. So he says: "Watchtower! The Devil's warehouse." Then he gives the tract back to me. Ten years later, after reading Crisis of Conscience and other books exposing the JWs, I realized that the old guy was right.

The adverse commercialism of the WTS. was one of things that got me questioning what the hell was going on.
Was this how the spreading the message of Christ's coming suppose to happen and be like.?
There was no money and commercialism of Christ's preaching back in biblical times and what do you think he would say
if he came across this in his work here on earth, do you think he would approve ......hardly
It just goes to show that there is indeed money to be made out of the bible and the belief in the bible.
Aside from the JWS, the TV evangelists and roaming faith healers have shown there is money that can be exploited and made.
Its a free capitalist Society that we live in after all and the WTS. has certainly taken advantage of that fact
There seems to be of late a cowering back if you will, right in the direction of their banks, maybe they are starting to realize the game is over, its time to close shop.

I have long held the belief that this applied to the Watchtower and the Governing Body in particular. I think that logically Babylon the Great must be the umbrella term for ALL organised religion, including the WT. In my view the above description fits the GB perfectly. -

It might as well be, but here is the main reason why the Devil could not really be controling the Washtowel Slaveholdery. I can remember Satan tried to set man free from God's tyranny by getting them to think for themselves. And, regularly Satan has tried to get people into freedom by liberating their thinking (only to have other men--and God--cut them off from succeeding in having a totally free society).
Actually, it is just a few humanoids running it. And those humanoids have set things up so only other humanoids are eligible to run it, ensuring that it will continue running as is.

I see so the WTS. is guided by the spirit of men for men, power , money , control
and its not guiding by anything else but crazy infallible men.
Problems arises too when they read and try to copy the social morals standards of men or cultures from thousands of years ago
Not really a good idea is it, but if your going to act like a god or a spirit just like in ancient times this what you have to do.
Sitting a top in control of that world wide religious kingdom must make a man feel like a king,
It was quite a climb for a lot of those poorly educated farm boys to achieve
