Frankly, it drives me nuts because I hear it four times a day @ work.

An interesting tidbit about Katy Perry. Both her parents were ministers or pastors or something and forbade her to listen to "worldly" music when she was growing up. Not difficult to guess what her parents think of the song. Curious if this "experimental game" of hers is a response to the stranglehold her parents had on her when she was younger.

My brother loves Katy Perry but as girl singers go, she doesn't really move me. I much prefer Amy Winehouse. The writers of "I Kissed A Girl" deserve big kudos for writing a spectacular pop song however ($$$$$).
