TV is dead. Really, whenever I have a TV available to me (I haven't had one for over 6 years) I'm astounded by the level of general stupidity which the shows cater to. Even the supposedly more educational programs on Discovery Channel or what have you are incredibly dumbed down.

I can get movies, videos, music, audio books, and games from the internet. I've already made my choice: I don't watch television anymore.

I have AT&T's new uVerse,,, which is really just ToIP... (Television over Internet Protocol)....
I watch more than I should but a lot less than I did when I had just regular network tv...I just watch different things now...
If the TV went plooey, I could still be informed via the net and be entertained.

It depends really. If I can't catch my show online I would want tv. TV PORN pales to Internet porn anytime.

During the past two years, the TV has been off most of the time, while I have been online much of the time. Between the two, Internet has provided more real-time news and weather, porn, and information than TV. Plus, I can do more than just watch TV shows that bash the Washtowel--I can bash them myself as well.
