I have known real dummies, I have also know some smart witnesses. I wonder what group I was classified in?
How about this - have you ever known any dumb ex-witnesses? Not me - the ny exjw meet up group are all above average.

I knew a sister that believed that the government could spy on you through the TV. This was 20 years ago, when there were no PCs or camera phones. I had to restrain myself from saying "yes, big brother is watching you!"

People are specialist they may be dumb in one area but they shine in other areas.
Life is a journey some are farther along than others.
But anyone who is a witness today has some gullibility issues.

First, I will define stupid as not thinking straight, and not as having a bona fide mental retardation.
That said, yes there are quite a few that are like that. I have noticed one that seems capable of inventing something wrong with everything (and not Scripturally wrong, either). This person acts like a pre-schooler, despite having enough intelligence to figure out how to operate a bicycle.
Another tried to make me tie in mowing a lawn at 3" with raising families in the Kingdumb Hell, since there is no way I will ever have one of my own if the opposite sex is going to continually be denied me by God Himself. They simply wanted to exploit that so they could get the advantages, without my ever seeing my own fulfillment. All because I suggested that they raise the mower blade to 3" (the standard landscaping height) instead of scalping it.
Plus, the witless humanoids that told me to just meet other men at a$$emblies. They keep telling me that it is not necessarily permanent, but I can sense that that statement (about its not being permanent) is a blatant lie. They never intend for me to meet the opposite sex or even try. And then they wonder why I miss all the a$$emblies now.
