Not really. Al Gore will rescue us. Currently, his company sells what are known as Carbon Credits. This is an innovative company. They might consider selling Ice Credits.

real global warming/cooling/whatever notwithstanding, how could you do something like that and not be really embarrassed? That's one reason extreme groups don't get taken seriously, beside the fact that they don't know how to compromise, they act out in such embarrassing ways. Maybe I'm just not theatrical enough.

It all depends how much methane gas has been cooked out of the tundra lately, as to the chance of a cooling event. Past ice core samples have shown the climate can flip in less than 5 years time--s-oo we won't have to wait very long to find out.

well, I was getting a little bored anyway. What with global warming, global cooling, muslims threatening to take over the world and put us all in burkas, the complete collapse of world economy, it should be an interesting few years, eh?

Global warming lies may well have met their match with reality.

Actuall, an ice age is usually preceded by an warming age that is usually preceded by a cooling age, etc. One of the reasons why I havent bothered to freak out about "global warming" is because it's all cyclical and natural.
