I ask because sometimes he looks like he's in more a stupor than normal.

Interestingly, yesterday he said he was going to "meet with his advisers and the President".....Was he talking about himself? Cheney? Putin??

I was catching up on my reading the other day... one of those "National Enquirer" -type weekly laying the the docs office. Seems Laura has had enough of the boozing and she is shopping for her own house in Dallas...she's out in January.

I think he self medicates...... people dont get dumber---but they do stay drunker. Explains a lot dont it?

I'm not a fan of Bush but yesterday I think he said he was going to meet with his advisors after meeting with the president...and there was someone sitting next to him. I assumed that he was a visiting president from another country...

Addicts often switch drugs. Power is a strong drug. 'Course, if the power buzz wears off, he could always fall back on good ol' booze. I could see it happening, now w all the $#!+ that's hitting the fan.

UMMMM - don't you think there may be some more important issues of the day than this?

Well, I guess not to the National Enquirer.

I just hope he doesn't want this job anymore.

I hope he is ready to go home and never touch politics again.

What's Bill Clinton got to do with anything...it was Bush who signed the National Security and Homeland Security Presidential Directive. With that he can declare an emergency and take over all functions of government. Who's to say he wouldn't try to use that to remain in office if an "emergency" (in his definition) right around inauguration time were to happen?
