    Great stuff as usual Blondie.

For those who missed it, here's my rantings on this article, an article, IMO, that is particularly offensive.

    Blondie:

And why the focus on God not leaving us when Jesus said:

    Quote

(Matthew 28:20) . . .And, look! I am with YOU all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.”

    Excellent Blondie! Yes, why indeed!

Did you know that the word "paradise" does not occur in the bible?

    What about Luke 23:43?

Thanks for all your hard work....

B&C, I should amend that to say that nowhere in the Bible does it say "paradise earth."

A phrase that is used many, many times in WT publications.

*** w07 1/1 p. 25 par. 17 "You Must Become Nothing but Joyful" ***In harmony with that, in our time the ingathering has widened out to include individuals from all nations who exercise faith in Jesus and have the hope of living on a paradise earth.

    Thanks Blondie !

I was about ready to puke by para. 3 of this mishmash...

    Q. 3. Why was the reign of King David not oppressive?3. Let us first examine the circumstances under which Jeroboam came to be king. Proverbs 29:2 states: "When anyone wicked bears rule, the people sigh." Under the reign of King David of ancient Israel, people did not sigh. David was not perfect, but he was loyal to God and trusted in him. David's rulership was not oppressive. Jehovah made a covenant with David, saying: "Your house and your kingdom will certainly be steadfast to time indefinite before you; your very throne will become one firmly established to time indefinite."-2 Sam. 7:16.

Along with what you listed, don't forget the rebellion under Absalom and the death of 20,000 Hebrews. Hmmm, I think the people really did sigh.

Excuse me while I go back to sharpening my claws on the next study article...

Thank you Blondie - this is a good article showing they have no basis for their lofty priesthood in Brooklyn. Wait on Jehovah?? If it isn't clear by now after over 100 yrs of this church, it will never be clear...it is obvious God is not backing this religion or things would be crystal clear.

And I have finally noticed how many things are made up, there is no "paradise earth" in the bible, nor can I really see the two classes of people...did Jesus ever mention two classes? Wasn't Jesus' teaching that everyone goes to heaven and that is the "paradise" he promised? All followers of christ were annointed with a heavenly hope.

I heard more cultish comments at this "study" than I have in a long time. It was insane. The conductor went over so everyone could have a chance to verbalize their lover for the "slave". Good comments above - paragraph 15 was of course the highlight. The best was when the conductor made the statement that last weeks study didn't change any truth, but refined it. Refined? Taking a 180 degree change on an explanation is not refinement it's change.
