Does any of our former Bethel workers know if there is anyone still at Bethel (Brooklyn) that personally knew Judge Rutherford?
Rutheford died in 1942, so there is a very real possibility that there is now no one around who knew the man.
As for Charles Taze Russell, he died in 1916 and so there is no one still alive who knew him, let alone even met him! Even a baby born in 1916 would be 92 years old today!
Again....so much for the Generation of 1914 not passing away.
My guess is that if there is they would be in their 80's, so I guess it's possible.

I was thinking Barr too. It is conceivable that he met him between 1939 and 1941, but it is doubtful. Rutherford's last major London trip AFAIK was in 1938 and he was sick in 1940 and 1941, and it is doubtful that he travelled in 1939, so it is quite possible that Barr never met the man.

If so, I would guess they are extremely old and do not remember him anymore or even remember their own name.
I remember seeing him in Martinsville Va, I think it was there. All I can remember is his attitude when he was speaking at the assembly. I was about 5 years old.
