how could the Ark hold enough fresh meat for just say, Lions for 13 months? Lions ONLY eat meat, fresh meat. Contrary to WTS pictures, they don't eat straw. They cannot even digest straw.

Many people who believe in the flood believe everyone, all life was a vegetarian before the flood including the animals

I am supprissed as full of piss and vinegar as you are you did not know that basic.

In the bible story, which I dont believe, the argument is that man fell under the curse of sin.

After the flood the atmosphere was different. Man and animals changed.

I cant argue with you about todays lions verses pre flood lions. According to Gen 1:29-30 all creation ate green plant food.

As I said I am not a big fan of the bible or the arc story. In fact I dont believe it.

So I am not interested in reading your friends lenthy article.

Your friend was not around before the flood and has not examined lions that were around before the flood.

I dont believe in the bible but I suspect many of you who are apostates have not turned over many stones to come to your conclusions.

Maybe you left the borg for imorality.

You dont seem to have a basic bible understanding

If you are interested in what you dont believe I would suggest checking out the institute for creation research.

They got many good answers that would stand up in debate.

Science as you use it is as much of a religion as Christianity or Islam.

    Good man Farkel.

As for jb : "Your friend was not around before the flood and has not examined lions that were around before the flood."

Nothing was around "before the flood" - it is a completely fictional event!

    jaguarbass:

There seems to be lots of evidence of a world wide flood.

Sure, there seems to be until you check and realise that all the people who make those claims are simply lying. They do this because their cherished beliefs depend on a global flood having happened, and as it clearly didn't, they have to pretend it did.

A JW at work told me "what you call an Ice Age I call a global Flood", and went on to explain about the water canopy, and how it had never rained before the Flood.

I explained that there are fossils prints made by raindrops striking soft mud from long before humans existed. Then I drew a picture of an Earth with a thick layer of water suspended above the atmosphere. "Is this pretty much what you believe"? He confirmed that it was. So I showed him how sandwiching the atmosphere between the water and the planets surface would cause atmospheric pressure to be many, many times what we experience today, and would make conditions very similar to those on Venus, an Earth-sized world which DOES have a heavy cloud cover.

He hasn't brought up the subject of the Flood again.

I can tell you that I did look at all of the "evidence" and it has all been debunked. Science is not a religion. How can you argue saying that and in the same time you say you are not interested in reading the article. these institute you talk about do not have good answers.

Btw you have made assumptions on "many of us". I have turn many, many stones over 4 years. Every day for 4 years I look at the evidence on the bible, science, creationist claims and it is all the same, creationist use the same tactics as the WT to push their agenda.

For someone to say that science is a religion clearly does not understand much about the scientific method.

Gaiagirl, You would not be able to see the stars and the moon threw a thick canopy of vapor. There are certainly descriptions of celestial bodies in the bible prior to the flood. That is another point to make with the water canopy believers.
