Hows the economy in my town?
Preparing for the worse, should McBush win. I went to WinnDixie today and stole myself a shoping cart. I have scoped out various corners here in Tampa bay were I can stand and put out a sign "money needed. I promise I will not spend it on food"
I have scoped out areas with public restrooms, and I know where all the dumpsters are.
My plan B. is membership to the gym is less than 50$ a month they have showers, jacuzzi, AC. I can hang out there 8 hours then head to the library to get on the net and post here and there. Head over to the county soup kitchen to pick up my bread and cheese.
Maybe I'll even vote for McBush to ensure I will never have to work again.
Slightly more serious. Tampa bay started falling apart when the dingbat stole the election 8 years ago.
I was a toolmaker making 50,000$ a year in a shop of 15. We all lost our jobs the second year of the Bushwacking, of 15 of us only 5 are gainfully employed today 8 years latter. None of us is making the money we made under Clinton.
I am doing the best, I got into law enforcement. I still make about 40% less than I did under Clinton.
My friends that I have played music with in various bands are all taking a Bushwacking over the past 8 years. My friends who were building contractors are now washing windows and doing janitorial, driving taxis and trucks.
Many bars that were viable and would pay bands to play on the weekend are now boarded up.
Huge sections of Tampa are boarded up.
There are many retires here in Tampa who come from all over the world for a piece of paradise and many people are falling all over themselves to cut their grass.
Many, many restaurants have gone out of business and those that are still in business charge twice as much as they did back in the clinton era.
Working for the state we have not gotten a raise or bonus in 3 years. The state makes us work overtime and then rather than paying us time and a half sends us home early at the end of the week or whenever they feel like it. If you complain they fire you.
When I talk to people at the gym or in public it always comes up that I am lucky to have a job.
Property insurance has doubled in the past 8 years, as well as electric and water. And gasoline has gone up 275% since Clinton was president
But news flash Less than a month before the election the Republicans who have been controling the price of gas,
the arabs and terrorist who have been controlling the price of gas have brought gas down to under 3.00$ a gallon.
Why because they want McBush to be elcected.
Why because he will continue to tear, blow up and destroy things which puts money in the bankers, oil sellers, masters pockets and takes money and energy away from the people.
They dont want a democrat in office. When people attacked america under clinton he didnt turn the world on its ear. Thats why things and the economy were so good under clinton.
I dont think Clinton even called them terrorist it was just Timothy Mcvay, that was less scary and times were good.
Clinton wore a long chain and the masters could never give it a good tug.
Thats why they were so focused to the point of fixing the election and creating this mess to get the dingbat W. in office.
