Ummm... if you get called by anyone - and you decide to talk with them... of course, they'll be trying to 'hang' you.
So - return the favor to this 'sister'. Just tell the 'elders'... "Yeah... I was pretty shocked that Sister Nosey stole that stuff from the 7-11. I wasn't going to say anything, but I think she needs to be reproved for being a thief!"
