Hi Tali! I haven't had my Zid fix in a while, and was feeling sad. I miss you too---but I talked to you more recently.

Sorry 'bout that, New Chapter...

I'm still feeling a bit anti-social.

Sheeba didn't make it.

When I made the comment that I was shopping - I was trying to fix that blasted sewer that my neighbors called a "fish pond", had force-fed Sheeba until she was jerking her head away from me, so I thought I'd give her a break by leaving for a while - let her get some sleep.

Unfortunately, I waited too long before taking her to the vets, apparently - and then the dumb vets decided to treat her HEART condition, instead of treating the digestive upset that was killing her.

That cost a precious 4 days in which we might have been able to save her...

I am still pissed off and thoroughly upset about losing her.

But - she was 16 years old. Hubby yelled at me when I said that I should have done more. As he said, I do more for my animals than anyone else he's ever seen. But it still hurts to have lost her.

I'll probably post a thread - "in memory of Sheeba" - in a week.
