I'm not sure this is a Hammond, but it has that kind of sound, you have to go ahead to 1:57 to hear the solo. I wished, during the 80's that more bands would include the Hammond in their arrangements.
The Hammond really augments a rock sound, listen to Jon Lord from Deep Purple or Keith Emerson for master classes in excellent hammond playing.
I was trying to find some Ron Levy's Wild Kingdom on Youtube, butto no avail. However I found Buddy Rich's "Preach and Teach" The first time I heard this song, the guitar played the part the Hammond plays here.
I like playing the organ - my organ
It was (and still is) the Hammond B 3. Simply the best! Jazz and Blues. Nothing can quite match it.
You have to have Leslie Rotary speakers to get that sound.
You can hear some great Hammond on the Lemonheads song "My Drug Buddy".
Jag, I love Bob Seger. I love that song. I wonder why they didn't have a Mike Stand for him. My grandson Mickey loves Ramblin' Gamblin' Man as well.
