that the announcer said that the kind of thinking the researchers use to recognize and sort through all this stuff (i.e., pattern recognition) is the same as that used in conspiracy theories--only this involves weather patterns instead of human politics.

Okay, now you just have my curiosity going. Since I haven't read any of the previous posts you seem to be objecting to, and I'm butting my big mouth in where my ears haven't yet been, please enlighten me: What point is it of yours that I'm proving?

Gregor-- not you too!! Don't you know that microwaving kills enzymes in the food which aid in the digestive/ metabolism processes...and so indirectly causes all kinds of ill health effects, cumulatively?

There is no conspiracy regarding fluoride contribution to thyroid and other diseases, there is enough data in the medical and scientific community to question the use of it and that's why some countries refuse to put it in their drinking water. There is no proof that it actually helps tooth decay, which is the reason for it being put in the water, and that's why it's considered toxic to kids under 6. The use of it in water was simply a way for the companies to get rid of toxic waste after WW2 and the government allowed it despite testing at that time that proved it was dangerous for humans. Fluoride aimed at tooth decay need not be put in water systems - it not only affects humans, but it causes a major imbalance in the environment. Follow the money. sammieswife.

Fluoride is a poison--more poisonous than lead, slightly less poisonous than arsenic. It is cumulative and collects in bones and tissues, not just the teeth. Numerous studies done on animals point out the obvious dangers. Other studies have shown increased rates of cancer, osteoporosis, and other diseases.
