It's the old "where would we go away to"? syndrome.
"The Truth" is a security blanket. A very prickly, short, uncomfortable one to be sure, but a security blanket nonetheless.
It's very scary to honestly look out from underneath it.
Farkel was one of many on here who helped rip away my security blanket.

It depends. Are they willing to entertain the fact that the WT org has absolutely zero credibility? Are they will to even entertain the fact that they may even be wrong? Unless they are willing to do this it is a waste of time.
A debate is an exchange of intelligence, an argument is an exchange of ignorance. Believing Witnesses I know argue, they do not debate. By definition, they can't.

It has made me realise that i haven't been wasting my time, in that others have been reading what i posted on the other forum with my critique of the disfellowshipping policy.
I have made my last response on there, ending it with how teenagers are left alone by choosing to leave the WTS.
