Indoctrination of children into the Watchtower Society

I know of one family that typifies this. Both of the kids were born in, and they were exposed to witless ideas and practices from birth. They never were exposed to worldly alternatives. They never had the chance to see what else is out there, since the parents banned anything that would have given them another perspective regardless of the source.

This family was out in field circus all the time. I have seen the children out in field circus during the holidays. In fact, I had the misfortune of spending one Christmas Eve sleeping there, and the only thing that saved me from going out in field circus with them the next morning was that the father got called into work (it snowed, and he had to clear the sidewalks). As it was, we wasted that day going to the a$$embly hell when it was empty, and then to another Kingdumb Hell (again, empty).

This family totally rejected anything outside the Filthful and Disgraceful Slavebugger. The children ended up getting baptized--one at age 12, the other at age 10. Both are regular pio-sneers. Both parents are also regular pio-sneers, and the father is a hounder. Everything they ever said or did fell within the guidelines put out by the Filthful and Disgraceful Slavebugger. They gave generously to the Worldwide Pedophile Defense Fund, even though they did not have that much money. They gave up cable TV, have no Internet access (no apostate web sites for them), and most other entertainment so they could have more time and money for theocraptic pursuits.

What they didn't say is how the fxxx are they going to live once they reach retirement. They boasted that their cuts in income lowered income taxes, but it is also going to slash their Social Security payments. In addition to that they have nothing saved for retirement--the last thing they need is a cut in Social Security. Perhaps the children will support them when they get there--that is, if Obama doesn't cut into their paychecks to pay for the support of all those witlesses and bums that do not work secularly (maybe they were hoping that Obama would take my paycheck to pay for their pio-sneering; I think I would rather support Bush's wars).

I couldn't agree with you more Homerovah. I too was brainwashed from an early age. Now that I have a child of my own I am determined not to put her through the same things. Any advice on how to do this as I am surrounded by dub relatives is appreciated.

I would try and impress upon her that all religions are rooted on old superstitions and fears from the past and that some people haven't pulled away completely from it because

of those fears. I'd try and rationalize with her that its not good to indulge with the way people lived or thought in the past, its much more fruitful

and beneficial to live outside of past ignorances.

Education and knowledge is a important factor in over coming these fears, irregardless of what religious leaders would imply .......take care
