I prefer Yo Yo Ma. You might like Apocalyptica.

Have always liked these threads. I've been working on a project on the computer today that has to be finished by Friday so it gives me a chance to listen to music that I haven't heard for quite a while, or music I've never heard before.

I really liked Jethro Tull. I also love Classical music so would rather listen to Bach as it was originally intended. But some may really like this.

Couldn't decide which thread to post these but this seems like the most appropriate. Today I was listening to some of Jethro Tull. As with other musicians I don't like everything Ian Anderson does but I found these and really enjoyed them. Thought I would pass them along.

It might have been him that got me hooked on the flute. I bought a great Herbie Man album in my twenties but can't find anything so far I like of his on YouTube. One of the pieces was gymnopedie by Erik Satie Gymnopedie

    Anyway back to work.

Not sure how the last one got on my thread.

Now for some INTENSE VIOLIN MUSIC that will blow your socks off!

    Handsome Violinist Extraordinaire!

    ***Samvel Yervinyan [Armenia] - violin***

Filmed at Yanni's Las Vegas Mirage Concert.

First saw Samvel on PBS... thought I would explode through the roof from the excitement! I had never seen anything like it. What strength he must have in his arms to keep up such a fast pace on a violin... such a hard instrument I would think.

It's only about 3 minutes... way too short... wish he would continue for half an hour. He's nice to look at, too. ;-)

(I posted this about a month ago on a restrangled music thread, if any saw it there).
