Someone mentioned Star Trek TNG. The episode entitled "Skin of Evil" where at the end they had the funeral for Tasha Yar. It was actually very well done and quite tearful.
As far as movies-Save the Last Dance. Philadelphia. Ghost-the ending. Parts of Titanic. Forrest Gump when Jenny died.
Dan Fogelbergs; Same Old Lang Syne was a wonderfully spiritual song. It's still sad to thing of him posthumously now.
What movie makes me cry?.."Napoleone Dynamite"..That is the stupidest movie I have ever seen!!..It`s painful to watch!!..My kid`s think it`s hilarious!..LOL!!........................

My dad passed away on the last day of summer, and for some reason Chad & Jeremy singing "A Summer Song" always brings tears to my eyes... Movies... An Affair To Remember, I watched it because of Sleepless in Seattle and it still makes me cry everytime... Also, the end of Breakfast at Tiffany's when she throws cat out of the taxi! *sniff sniff*

I have heard this song a thousand times since it came out. A couple of months ago we took in a live show and a local girl sang this song . I guess it was the first time I ever really heard it.
