Best Foods Mayo. Also, just found a great Jalapeno Mustard. Both on rustic French bread with sliced turkey, tomato, thin slice of sweet onion. Glom!

I like them both. My wife detests MW.

I got into an argument over brands of mayo one time.
Being from the South, I grew up with Dukes mayo and still purchase it to this day. A buddy of mine grew up in New Jersey and he usess Hellman's. He chided me for using an "imitation" mayo and I came to the defense of Dukes as being better. Both of us being as stubborm as mules we just couldn't let it go and we got into a pretty good debate, albeit a funny one. We almost had a civil war over mayo...

MW is nearly half the calories of mayo and MW Lite is even lower. Both are a guilty pleasure, though. Ran out of mayo yesterday and made Mr. Bee's tuna salad sandwich with MW. No complaints.

Mayo. Miracle Whip's for those that can't afford good mayo.

The whole concept of mayo is a little gross, but I love the stuff. Hellman's/Best Foods only!
Miracle Whip.Speaking of sugary mayo, does anyone here eat 7-layer salad??

Yogurt. You can thicken it by hanging it in cheesecloth over a bowl for several hours in the refrigerator.
Mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon, 90 calories, and it contains 15% of your daily intake of fat.
Miracle Whip, 1 tablespoon, 35 calories, and it contains 3% of your daily intake of fat.
Low Fat Yogurt, one container, 100 calories, and it contains no fat.
Try out this Tzatziki dip, yum. http://www.foodtv.ca/recipes/recipedetails.aspx?dishid=4284

You can get name brand mayo for the same price-they are usually on sale at the same time(which is the only time I ever buy either one).
OK, here is the deal. The PERFECT dressing for potato salad is both MW and Mayo mixed together with mustard and finely chopped relish or pickles, a bit of vinegar, S&P. Put the dressing over warmish(not hot) cubed potatoes, then stick in the fridge immed. and chill well(don't forget the eggs!). A little celery is always good.
My family loves it. -

I was raised in a Best Foods Mayonaise house by a mother who detested MW. I'm not sure I have ever had it.
Due to all the gruesome facts on mayo, I rarely eat it. But if it's going to count on something yummy, I want the real thing. (Thinking now, it might all be in my head...like the religion thing...sigh.)

I try to avoid both when possible, not exactly healthy grub. But I do love the olive oil Hellman's Mayo. Miracle Whip tastes way too sweet for my palate. Sigh, fat is such a horrible thing isn't it? I love cream in my coffee but I compromise by using light 5% cream, cause 18% fat is going to land right on my hips, dammit.
