Yes Australia was bombed by the Japanese in World war 2 in Darwin....but this movie has so much more...this couple look fantastic together and the scenery gives you an idea of Australias natural wonders.....will review film next week. ....must see!

I gotta see that one. Parts of it were filmed here in Darwin too... though not that much as between the Japanese and Tracy, there's not much of the older building left nowadays.

Alot of the film was filmed in Brijens backyard and please watch for our cameo as two Rutherfordite Witnesses holding a grammaphone! It's hard to spot but we are in the background behind Nicole Kidman!

I was looking forward to it until I read the reviews.............all of them agree too, saying not to waste your money, poor direction, etc.

It's getting bad reviews from the critics but the movie goers are giving it the thumbs up. A- on most of the comments posted after the reviews.

My husband and I saw Australia this afternoon (matinee). We both enjoyed it and I would recommend it - just keep in mind it is very Hollywood-esque. Love Hugh Jackman and the little boy in the movie.
