If a non-JW had two minutes to live ... how would he/she receive salvation?

The JW answer from another forum:

As far as your two minutes left to live. That's about as long as would take to fall ten thousand feet. Don't worry, be happy. You wouldn't feel a thing. If you don't understand the Kingdom by then it doesn't matter, you don't have enough time to gain the knowledge to have the hope. You'll be trained in the knowledge when you are resurrected.

Wow! How did I ever get involved with this cult?! The scary thing is ... this is exactly what they teach! Salvation takes MONTHS (maybe YEARS) to get "accurate knowledge" in the JW religion!

"But" their knowledge is "inaccurate". So, I'll take the cliff fall any day.

Whereas Christians know that they should spend those two minutes praying like crazy!

The Watchtower idea that God had to give all these people "second chances" because he couldn't decide if they were good or not is just nuts. Individual judgment, for good or evil, takes place at the time a person dies. Our Lord can read the heart. He doesn't need a thousand years to make up his mind.

    Pax,

    Ruth

I like the part "trained in the knowledge" ... like you need to be programmed. Truth just doesn't happen ... it has to be POUNDED INTO YOU CONSTANTLY!!!!

I seem to remember in Acts...the Ethiopian eunuch, the jailer, and Cornelius all were saved...in matters of minutes. They did not have to jump thru hoops as one must in the WT today? Then I seem to remember Gal chapter 1 talking about how anyone who preaches a different gospel is to be forever accursed.

Doesn't salvation come from believing not knowing?
