Recently they made an announcement at our hall that there would be a meeting for all baptized brothers only, no matter how young or old, or whether you are serving or not. Any baptized brother. One of the elders wives said there is a 45 minute outline from the branch and then another 15 minute part. Supposedly it has some experiences, etc. I didn't go to it to see what it was. Has anyone else heard of this recently in their congregations?

I wonder what it's about, if it's some pep thing to get the brothers worked up for the family study night or what???

    Sounds about right.....

We haven't had that announcement yet in my hall, but if it is from the BRANCH, then it is coming soon.

Probably instructions on how to beat a woman without leaving any marks.

Those lowly baptized sisters need not come for this special talk, estrogen weakens the holy spirit , I guess.

Maybe they are going to start a policy that all sisters should wear a Burka when at the Hall.

Advanced window washing training, and how to place a watchtower while shampooing commercial rugs.

They did that at our hall about a year ago. It's to get the boys all rev ed up about reaching out. If you are baptised, reach out to pass the mikes or clean more toilets. If you are an MS, reach out to be an elder. My husband did not go and it was frowned upon, bad attitude ( that's why I love him) .

Yes a baptized nine-year old boy outranks an anointed sister, baptized for 50 years all spent in full-time service.

Yes - it is about reaching out - there is a great need for elders and MS

And yes baptism and a penis are the only requirements

BTW, what would happen if a baptized brother was not at that meeting or had to go to work right afterwards or just didn't care to go?
