    actively? No. passively yes.

I am really trying to be an ex-EX JW.... I am to busy with college to do more. I am here for the continued support... over a year since attending my last meeting.

I have only my JW mom to worry about, and to pull the rug out from under her would pull her only support structure, esp since she just moved to a

new state hundreds of miles both from where she was and where I am... she doesnt shun, and I love her.

But if anyone asks, of course I tell them that JW is a cult.

It is so totaly insane how they think. I am fading and was talking to a sister this last weekend about the new book study she just went on and on about how kind the brothers were for giving us an ext night. I could not believe what she was saying. I had to stop her when se went on about how they did not want us to spend money on gas they were looking out for us but how could they have known that gas would go down instead of up. What I thought Jehovah talked to them they should have know right? Oh my word did she even hear herself. I just said well how come they did not care about the poor brothers who went through swamps and battled crocodiles or walked 3 hours one way though flooding rivers balancing their clothes and shoes on their heads and you are trying to tell me that they stoped the book study for us rich people becasue of gas. That makes no sense. Her eyes glazed over and she quit talking but I know I did not reach her. How oh how can they be so dumb.

Yes, I do. Family...., I have to tread carefully there, I drop 'seeds of doubt' when I see an opportunity. I was a fully fledged, card carrying, JW super freak. And no ways would I listen to any criticism of the Organization. I had to see for myself, and make up my own mind. Nothing less will work on them either. But I tell all I can on the outside of the BORG what the JW's are about, and thus ensuring they don't convert anyone on my watch. Agent Smith

No. I used to when I first left but found that facts don't phase them. I soon discovered that until they are ready there is a wall there that lets nothing through. I was that way myself. Every witness in my family knows how I feel about the Watchtower yet most of them don't avoid me and will even do things with me. I don't push my views on them and they don't shove the towers views on me. That is about as good as it can get considering the circumstances. But ever case is different. If you can get things out there without too many problems then it is worth a try.

In the early years I did and I was successful in opening some eyes. As time goes on I really don't have the opportunities. Contributing comments here is about all I can do.

edited to add -sorry I think I misunderstood the question
