Not a late night talk show host, ever catch Jay Severenson on the radio.? We're both local, you must have. He's good to listen to on the way home from work.
I went to Ken's Steak where he supposedly broadcasts his show to see him, (and because the restaurant and dressing they sell was named after me) and he wasn't there.
BTW, the food sucked.

Craig Ferguson all the way. He's not as consistently solid as he was the first few years (it sucks now that CBS forces a commercial break at the start of the show, and sometimes he gets way too formulaic), but he still delivers some killer monologues. The recent one that was a home run was the one in which he urged the youth to vote not because it's hip, not because they're gonna "rock the vote", do it because IT'S YOUR DUTY. Craig's monologues are great because they are not the usual string of unrelated topical jokes, they tend to have a theme or riff on one particular subject, more like an improvised stand-up act. Last year I was at a conference sharing a room with a gal from Scotland and she went to Ferguson's old stand-up shows back in Scotland, and we watched an episode of Ferguson together and she recognized bits and jokes that he had used way back in Scotland. BTW, his mum died last week and last night his show was dedicated to her memory, telling stories about her and showing clips with her and RZA (Wu-Tang Clan). He did a similar show in '06 about his dad when he passed and got nominated for an Emmy for that show.
