Alrighty then let's rephrase the question... prior to August, did it seem that the number of those appearing on this board was accelerating or no?

Yes. This place has been for most of us a sort of intensive care unit for our battered souls... a sorta of JW Anonymous where we can share the burden some still carry...
Most of the people here are nice and caring and willing to hear and share the wounds and scars of our prior lives...
My hat off to all of you who, by just listening and understanding, made a significant difference in the life of anyone who read them here...

I always thought it was interesting the way topics would go in waves. As in; several questions/topics at once almost alike or with only minor differences.

Not really.
The board changes over time. It goes back and forth.
I remember a time when there were many here who were so anti witness, with venom. Any newbie who was still in and mentioned they were, seemed to be for a lashing.
That was many years ago though. To me the board has had many periods, for now it seems to be a happy medium for me.

JIMMY - More and more people are becoming frustrated with the " mind control" they are receiving from the WT society. Yes - they are appearing at a faster rate I've noticed, not only on this board but JWS as well ! It is great there are boards like this one and others that people can turn to in order to get support for starting life again after JW ville exiting. It certainly has helped me the last couple years

As a mod I would have to say YES.
I think more people are lurking and certainly many more people are posting here. The board was scrolling so fast before the BUG announcement that it was really hard to keep up with it.
Mind you many of the people signing up were trouble-makers with multiple accounts but even with those weeded out it was still too fast for people to really get into deeper discussions like they had earlier in the board's history.

After the big announcement, I noticed many posters who hadn't posted much start posting. It did seem like new members. All had signed up before August and some had never posted before.
