Wow! Great source of information! It really boils down to the key points of why JWs are not a Christian organization.

    Bookmarked.

Didn't do it for me either. The article states that JW's aren't real Christians because they don't believe the usual absurd orthodox dogmas spouted by mainstream christianity. Yawn.

The same things stated here can be said of almost every christian religion. I am with AAG and yadda here...

When I left the wt I started an honest search and study of most religions. I compared various translations of the bible and what is more important, the various interpretations of different sects give of it. I also read the main books of the non-christian religions. My conclusion is that ALL are sects or cults in one way or another. ALL ALL ALL base their beliefs on books written by MEN who make believe the so called god inspired them and therefore, the books WERE written by god. (lowercase is intentional).

By definition then, ALL follow another man's ideas, the basic building block of all sects and cults.

I no longer believe that the bible or any other religious book for that matter is divine. Just another collection of human thoughts. I might as well believe in the tooth fairy or santa or the ring from the Tolkien series or pokemon or Chango & Yemayá!

This is for me the only truth: regarding god and bible and angels etc etc etc.. it is all human invention; means to control other fellow human beings...

in other words A LOAD OF CRAP

I chuckle when I see one Christian religion try to explain why another Christian religion isn't "right."

Hell, they ALL believe in talking snakes, talking donkeys, pillars of fire, salt rainstorms, fiery chariots going to heaven, the sun standing still for a day, demons jumping into herds of pigs, 12 foot tall people, magical "muscle" hair, rods turning into snakes, blazing furnaces that don't singe hairs, burning bushes that don't burn, virgins popping out kids, trumpet playing that knocks down huge stone walls, seas that part, fish that swallow people whole and then vomit them up unharmed in 3 days, huge rivers that turn to blood, angel wrestling, angels boinking humans, chopped off ears stuck back on and become good-as-new, and a whole bunch of other baloney.

Anyone who believes any of that crap has no business taking pot shots at other crap people believe.

All Religions supports human ignorance in way or another, if that is the case what human social values are gained

Farkel has it right, when ignorance tries and overcome another ignorance your still left with ignorance

It didn't point out any real dangers. It said that the danger of the JW's was that they teach wrong dogma, not that they bust up families and deny life saving medical treatment to their followers. Beliefs aren't dangerous until they become action.
