the new blackberry due out soon has not got a real qwerty keyboard...just screenpad like my delve-samsung...i love it...but miss the real keyboard and the mouse/circle thingy......oompa

I just wonder how far this technology thing will go. I have a cell phone that does all kinds of things.. i disco'd the cell phone internet after a brief stint in 06..who wants to surf the net on a 1 inch screen?

does anyone still send snail mail letters?

I have an Verizon XV6900 it is a lot like my old Ipaq. It has all the features I wanted but I do miss having a keyboard like a regular cell phone. It is hard to type using the little stick thing that comes with it and I make lots of mistakes. Also it is hard to dial a number when it is bright outside because you can't see the screen. If your screen goes out you have no way of using the phone or texting. Other than that it is great. I have Word and Excel on it. I have about 10 CD on the storage card and it even shows the album covers. I have Microsoft Reader on it and have six or seven books and a dictionary on it. I have five different translations of the Bible on it including a New Revised Standard with Apocrypha. I go online regularly and even post here from it. It it hard to believe the technology we have available to us these days.

Ok.. already had issues.... Went to make my first call this morning and got a recording that said "account not recognized". Somehow it was deactivated... took a while to resolve... back up and running now.

It appears I can watch tv on this thing... haven't tried it yet....

I had willing gents here at work that got me up and running when I first got it. Thankfully. Now I can get around a bit now that I am more familiar.

There is a Blackberry Yahoo group that I subscribe to, but truthfully it's over my head, LOL.

I am going to ask that you do the world a favor and do not become one of those annoying "sent from a Blackberry" tagline people. The iphone people are the worst. Most people do not give a rat's ass what others are typing on, just the content.

At the moment the email function isn't working... IT is working on it.... I don't know how the tagline thingy works yet, so the chances of me using that are probably not high... I really like the camera... I can take pictures and email them... figured that out the first day... then the email function failed....
