"Death map" shows heat a big hazard to Americans

"The most dangerous places to live are much of the South, because of the heat risk, the hurricane coasts and the Great Plains states with their severe weather, Cutter said.

The south central United States is also a dangerous area, with floods and tornadoes.

California is relatively safe, they found."

I have no fear about moving back home to California.

I think that includes us, Arkansas, and now we are getting minor earthquakes, not to mention ice storms.

It is VERY dangerous to live in California. We have earthquakes! We have Liberals! We have incredibly high taxes! We have gazillions of cross-dresses and gays. We have huge amounts of drugs! Our police are worse than 1930's Hitler's Germany! Our prices are way too high! Our food is ALL vegan! Our freeways are parking lots! Our politicians are all corrupt! We are near bankruptcy! We have massive fires! We have mudslides such that millions and millions and millions of people fall right into the depths of the Pacific Ocean and into Davy Jones locker when we get an inch or two of rain! We have Arnold Schwarzenegger! He messes people up! We have Barbara BoxerShorts and Diane Frankenstein! How bad is that? People who look at barbara die instantly! She has the nickname "medussa" Boxer. We have San Francisco. It is now legal in San Francisco to take a crap on a Trolly and not use toilet paper when you do it. Can you believe that! It was passed by the San Francisco City Council under the principle of "tolerance for alternative life styles."

No, folks, please, PLEASE do NOT COME AND LIVE IN CALIFORNIA! It sucks here. I can barely stand to live here after 41 years of sheer bliss, but I am trying my best to cope with it. So, just stay where you are, ok? Especially you morons in Oklahoma. There are enough of your idiot's descendants here in Monterey and Salinas to last another 3 generations before they are either shot or they assimilate. Just ask John Steinbeck. He knew!

I would love to live in CA, love the weather, no humidity, cool, dry -- at least when I was there for a short while, north of San Fran ...

but isn't it severely expensive? And I heard it is THE most regulated state in the nation... (Strategic Relocation book, Joel Skousen).

Somewhere in the mountains would be my next choice, Idaho maybe, I dunno...

As for that article, agree 100000000000000000000 % about THE HEAT! BLAHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I am totally ANTI-HEAT, despise it. I quit going out probably 4-5 years ago, at least for the LONG horrid humid Florida summers that last 3/4's of the year. Can't stand it. Drippy dippy sweaty, miserable. Heat is very draining.

    abbagail,

:ut isn't it severely expensive? And I heard it is THE most regulated state in the nation... (Strategic Relocation book, Joel Skousen).

Yes, yes, yes. It is horribly expensive and more regulated than the old Soviet Union. Now go move elsewhere and have a nice day.

Thank you. Nothing personal. Too many people live here now, already. Go away. Nebraska is nice. If not that, try Iowa. That's also nice. Or Oklahoma. Nice, too.
