I'm single again after 13yrs and I love being my own boss and I love my first own apartment!! I come home when I want, clean when I want, eat when and what I want etc etc. I'm totally free and independant! That to me is a wonderful feeling. However, we're not made to be alone, so of course I long for someone to hold my hand, to hug and so on and I do have someone at a distance but I want to enjoy single life a bit longer.
/Newborn
Ps. have to admit I'm starting to become a bit jealous of Mary and Loubelle
I like not having to answer to anyone, to do things spontaneously or do nothing at all without having to defend or explain myself. I must add that I've never been married - does that disqualify my response?
I can surf the net for porn and not have to worry about her or he catching me.
The grass is always greener the other side of the fence.
When your single you want to be in a good relationship and when you're in a relationship you envy the single life.

Maybe smoking grass is the cure

Well I can really stretch out in bed as i am now. I'm free to come and go as I please. I'm am extremely happy with the peace in my life. Having a hand to hold and that. . . It's going to have to be with someone who get's the way I think, 'cos it aint normal. Smoking grass: i'd seriously get the giggles.
Newborn, no need to be jealous of me, kitty married Mary. I'm free.
I'm sure there are more things I like, but I can't think of them all now.
There are things I miss about being married though. I will not settle for less than I deserve and need in a partner/relationship. I've no burning need to get married. I'm not ruling the idea out, but it will be right or I won't do it again.
I do spend quite a few weeks of the year being a bachelor so I will comment I like being able to have a second alcoholic drink without getting disapproving looks. I like being able to "waste" barbeque charcoal just to cook one Porterhouse rare - and perhaps a skewer of veggies I like being able to spread out in the bed I like having the remote control to myself
