OFC, you said this prayer in response to BonaFide's thread about losing his father. It was so moving that it's still in my heart.
I hope it's not too presumptuous of me to copy it here with slight modifications, of course.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Please be with your servant who needs your comfort now more than ever. She has lost her precious uncle. Please Lord keep her strong during this time of trial. She will need your spirit to go on as she is feeling very sad and we know that you and your Holy Word are very comforting. Your Holy Spirit is needed so much right now for her to carry on. Please lift up her spirit and let her take your hand as she walks through the valley of death, and she shall fear no evil for your rod and staff will comfort her. Father let us remember that nothing is impossible with you and in time your dear servant will be rejoined with her loving uncle. Give her faith, hope, comfort and love to carry on in her journey of life. Protect her please with your loving arms embrasse her towards you and one more thing father please don't allow your servant to be lonely she needs friends who can be with her at this time so dear Father perhaps you'll find someone who will keep her from being lonely. A good true friend.
As with all things Father we honour you and praise you and offer this prayer to you in the name of our Saviour, Christ Jesus
