I always thought that title gave the wrong emphasis to the gospel message.
I think Jaguarbass is right. Armageddon did come in 1975. It came invisibly.
Perhaps we should write Brooklyn Bethel and ask them "OK, Who DID Conquer the World in the 1970's?"

Well I tell you..there was a time when the kids were little..we here in Missouri had a major quake..I just knew it was the big A....I just knew it!...
I kept running my life over and over in my mind to see if I had done anything wrong...then the quake was over...I was saved!..I guess I was a good girl after all...
Oh yeah..then there was the time in the 70's when we had a major Ice storm..then right in the middle of it we have a thunder storm..that was creepy..lightning in the sky and ice on the ground..just doesn't happen..I just knew it was the Big A..I again started thinking if I had been a good girl...

I remember that ad that proclaimed the end within 2008, right on this forum. Now, that is going to be added to the list of false prophesies. At least that was not from the Washtowel.
Now, we will see if 2011 ends with nothing more than the year 2012 starting. As for the Washtowel, I bet they are going to hype the end of 2014 to get another big sellout, only to get 2015 to start with nothing. After that, they are going to have another cleansing of history. And, the year 2034 is next--and 2035 is going to start with nothing. Once again, the washtowel is going to be in for serious embarrassment.
