Honestly, Would You Have Secretly Taken a Blood Transfusion?

No I wouldn't have. But I must say the changes in the policy and the subsequent QFR that one would be dissassociating themselves if they took a transfusion was the catalyst for me to search the internet for some answers. That's when I found the reform website, and the beginning of the end.

My feeling was either taking blood was either wrong or right. To me allowable fractions have nothing to do with a "law." Of course I know now it is not a law, just WTBS dogma.

Now that I am sure of the misapplication of scripture I know I would take blood if necessary. But honestly, I feel very wierd about it, and uneasy...still.

BTW, there was another unnecessary death a few months ago due to the policy. The man would be living today if he would have taken blood. Makes me sick. And I wonder, as the policy changes mroe and more, how his wife is going to feel, and his kids.

    GD WBTS.

What I would have found totally impossible would have been to refuse for my kids - could not do it. I would have said to the doctors "Go ahead, do what is necessary, just please dont tell those bastards on the HLC or PVG

I would have refused, and signed the forms denying consent when I went in hospital for a procedure. Scary. OMG

I would have died for my faith and for eternal life.

The CRAZY thing is that people will actually die or be very willing to die and for what sound reasoning? None whatsoever, especially when you examine blood fractions from a biblical standpoint. It's such a dumb teaching and most of us were too dumbed down to get it.

I don't know that you can say for sure unless confronted with it. I never was. I would take blood now if necessary. My husband faced it and refused blood and any fraction. I would have supported him either way. By the way the liaison committee (window washers) didn't know what they were talking about at the time, told him packed platelets were OK to take ( don't even know the rules to their own silly game.) I always felt better about the kids, knowing that a judge would step in and save them from such lunacy. And I don't see how it could ever be kept a secret because they patrol the hospitals like the gestapo or there is a nosey little medical records clerk that would spill the beans for the sake of your spirituality of course!

Over the coarse of my life I had to under go many operations. I was always willing to die to be faithful to God as it was explained by the Society. I had a kidney transplant over 14 years ago and signed all the papers refusing a transfusion. Since then my eyes have been opened to the falseness of their teachings and this year I had a heart operation and made sure that if a transfusion was needed I would receive it. Matter of fact I did need one and had it. You can read about my experience here.

I am very thankful that none of the other times I was in the hospital did I need a transfusion. Perhaps I would have been another victim of this horrible policy. Thankfully, I now know the truth about the truth

Lucky you didn't need a transplant when they said it was a sin.
