I think this is totally serious. Some of them are supposed to be lighthearted. The ties are silly but there are lots of silly ties sold in regular stores too.

Of course, they'll get told to shut it down; it's pathetic how they stifle even the most innocuous efforts at originality and individual creativity by the young.. no wonder they're hemorraghing young people by the bushelful!

Well, one young man in the picture has a little beard stubble and his hair is slightly over his ears-unnacceptable. And one of the tops shows cleavage. Only an untheocratic woman would buy it.

And certainly-don't put this stuff on after the conventions-you should remain in your dress clothes for any after-convention activities.

I'd like to get the Witness Protection program t-shirt as I feel protected from THEM now.

Wow. I mean...just...Wow.

First of all JW chic is an oxymoron. Then there's two reasons this won't work...well three:

1. Old school dubbies will find it disrespectful and will turn their noses up at it.

2. Any dub that may have some chic in them will laugh at this (much like some here are) and will refuse to wear it.

3. and probably most importantly - once the Society gets a hold of this, they'll send the local elders down on this poor JW like a bald-headed prophet sending a she-bear down on defenseless children.

As I looked at the site. I got the feeling someone is having some fun here at JWs.

Just something about it does not seem right. I have seen other sites selling JW stuff and they are just boring stuff for use on ministry or meetings.

No one with things like ties, tops, etc.

If it is genuine and aimed at JWs then whoever put it on has no idea how JWs think.

PS: How just gone through the selection of stuff on the site. I would say most if not all would not be looked on favourably by Elders.

I can see the reaction if a brother turns up at the KH with a tie with "Mic handler" on it.

The one I like is the one that says across a female's chest: "Regional T-Bar". Yeah, let's round up all the brothers and go to the regional t-bar. You work there? How much for a lap dance?

I wondered about the various "Regional" this and that stuff.

Dubs aren't allowed to have t-shirts with ANY writing on them at all on RBC sites.

Maybe you just wear it off-site to look impressive.
