    • Continued economic uncertainty and the failure of financial institutions
    • Auto industry in melt down
    • Unemployment set to rise to record levels
    • Ongoing destruction of the environment
    • Food shortages due to disproportionate distribution of wealth
    • Preventable diseases rife due to disproportionate distribution of wealth
    • The Middle East a mess
    • Terrorism an increasing threat
But on the upside the big A must be even closer!

Have we got much to look forward to in 2009?

I'd like to think it'll be a wonderful year...for me personally it can only be better than 2008.

Once you have been very close to death...every day becomes precious no matter what it brings.

Also, once you have been close to death, you loose your fear of it.

I'm always optimistic. 2009 will have something good and positive to offer and if problems arise to face them head on.

    Globalization.
    Codex Alimentarius at the end.
    Martial law.
Having all my paycheck going to pay for lazy bums that will not work.
Extra regulations making it even harder to start new companies and grow them.

    I'm optimistic.

    From The Message Bible:

Luke 9:62 Jesus said, "No procrastination. No backward looks. You can't put God's kingdom off till tomorrow. Seize the day."

I think this is the year Jennifer Anniston may give me a call.

Nathan, I hope she does! Get some weed - I heard she smokes.

Things are pretty bleak right now - I'm thinking optimistically. Hopefully we're at the bottom, or close to it economically. People are still going to buy cars, people. The need didn't just vanish forever and ever. The auto industry will come back, and come back stronger, and stronger, until we hit another dip in the wave and bail them out again. Think about it...

Economically, what goes up must come down. What goes down must come up. It's the same old dance over and over again.
