Does anyone know how field service will be organised now that book studies in private homes have ended?
Will there be field service groups? Will there be elders assigned to each group? How will shepherding be arranged?

There are field service groups that are about the same size as the old book study groups and an elder is in charge of each group. From what I understand, they don't want any groups meeting at the khall, just homes.

They have created "Field Service Groups" along the lines of the old Book Study Group arrangement. They still have the one Saturday a month where everyone meets at the hall. Sunday service is still the same.
We will continue to meet with our now-defunct BS FS groups until the Fitful Slavebugger commands differently......
That's very interesting since the families that volunteered their homes for the book study, of them at least 2/3 said yes only if no field circus groups met at their home. If they don't meet at the KH, that leaves only 1/3 possible meeting locations, actually less since at least one was at the KH.

If they meet at my place, they can expect zero accomodations. I refuse to buy folding chairs just for a bunch of witlesses. Plus, they will have to deal with all my Christmas decorations that will just get left up, a Ouija board, whatever rap (or Christmas) music I feel like playing during the meeting, a locked door if I don't feel like letting them in on time, neighbors that will complain about all the noise and traffic from all the witlesses (mostly footstep noise), books on a "secret society" that is designed to awaken one's thinking (plus Crisis of Conscience), and displays of every demonic CD I have on hand.
And I am not getting rid of any of it for them witlesses.
WT Wizard, you know how insensitive Witlesses are to subtle hints, couldn't you be a bit more forthright?
Love and a Happy New Year!

Maybe they are phasing out the ministry.
