Double post.....OUTLAW
One of the most harmful teachings for me was that I would not have to physically die, but could escape death into an earthly paradise. I really believed it and when I woke up and realized I had been lied to, it was devastating.
Witnesses have an unnatural view of life and death. They encourage people to become focused only on their own welfare and to quickly dismiss the lives of others. They will abandon their children, parents, etc. to gain their life in paradise. They are not working for the greater good of mankind, but rather the selfish continuation of their own lives at the expense of all others.
What will you do to keep living? It makes me think of those who abandoned others in Nazi Germany and other similar situations to spare their own lives. It is not a selfless way to think, but the ultimate exercise in selfishness.

My unbaptized teen-age daughter took one look at the title and said:
"Well that's real positive isn't it?"
I replied:
"Love me.....Or I'll kill you." (wink)
She then ran a highlighter over a few pages to keep the peace.
