On a serious note", I just hope that we are not told to stay away officially. I have never been around Yellowstone though I have been to Jackson Hole and the Grand Tetons. Yellowstone is extremely high on my "life's ""to do"" list"

I spent 10 days in Yellowstone 3 1/2 years ago. It's an absolutely fascinating place. All of you should make a point of going and spending some time there. Don't just drive through and see Old Faithfiul!

Throughout history, such dire warnings have proved either substantiated or they have not. Regardless, the "doomed" populace survived when the warning was false. Life and civilization continued unabated. Sometimes not, conversely, as the prediction was truly on target. Often, however, vast populations have been decimated by a geological event come without notice.

One persons individual viewpoint on this matter is not viable enough to garner the respect and and the attention from the population as apposed to a consortium

If there was an agreed acknowledgment that there is more than likely an eruption to occur at that site, you will certainly hear about it.
