wow, no more Dalton Ga! I wrote to that convention center marketing director and head, I sent information. Not that it was me, but I wonder if others did the same. Because they touted it so heavily in the years past, MANY years . Maybe the DCC also figured out the money they made was way less than if they booked other groups for the venue.

It seems like the DC will be nothing more than a circuit assembly with some of the small venues. They're having one at my old assembly hall that I helped build in the 1970's at Coraopolis, PA. I don't remember exactly, but I think it only has about 800 seats.

the one in coraoplis is a greek con so yeah it's not going to have a lot of people.
As predicted on this forum they are moving to assembly halls. Exactly why the 2 & 1 day CA/SAD events have gone down to 2x1 day events. Make more room. Get more donations in at venues already paid for.
This trend will only increase. Reports are that other countries are also doing regional conventions in JW venues.

Thanks for pointing that out for me. Now how did I miss that it is a Greek assembly?

Actually, I think it's easier to skip some of these - the ones in I noticed in Ont, Que and the Maritimes hit at a time when a lot of kids would be writing exams and having to wrap up year end assignments at school. I used to skip a lot of Meetings™ with the heavy school work and studying I had, and I'd definitely miss an Assembly™ day over missing school.
Yeah, I'm a bit weird like that. lol
Anyone have the UK dates/locations yet?
