Could the "Memorial" night and number of partakers be all fake?

  Faithful and Discreet Slave, a distinct class of people comprising the remaining ones of the 'anointed [1] ' 144,000 [2] , or "the remnant" [3] that is "appointed over" others to "give them their food at the proper time", based on their interpretation of Matthew 24:45 ("a faithful and wise servant" KJV).

  Each year at the annual "Memorial" only the Anointed Class of members partake of the emblems. Everyone else is an observer.

  Did you ever think that the Memorial is only a display to keep their authority over the rank and file ? Might all the number of partakers be fake? May the whole Memorial night be phony?

  no more kool aid

  I don't know how they could possibly keep track. For example, there was this wacky family I knew years ago that would only come to the memorial, all dressed up in Easter clothes and bonnets. They all partook. Do you think they actually counted them? I am sure there are many cases like this. How do they really know?

  I don't know about the numbers being fake but I do believe it is another

  method the cult uses to maitain control over the sheeple.

  I call it the JW's BLACK SABBATH because they reject Jesus when they 'observe'

  and pass the crackers and kool-aid without eating and drinking.

  It's going to be awesome when the number of partakers begins to approach and then exceeds 144,000! Then it will become a 'metaphorical' number.

  I have now come to believe the whole thing is a farce. I first came into this cult in the late 60's and began to get into the "operations" of it during the early 70's. Back then things seemed to add up, but as the years went along, the numbers fluctuated and things went bonkers. Any "feeling" of being spirit-directed vanished while at the same time.....doctrines WE were taught to believe and that we taught others....disappeared one after another.

  This is NO WAY to inspire faith in an organization that has shown to be offering what is NOW seen as their "best guesses and opinions" on everything they teach.....and THEN have the audacity to tell their dutiful followers that they MUST be "loyal and obedient" (TM) to WHATEVER their spiritual leaders in Brooklyn currently tell them.

  We have only to sit back and watch as the WTS attempts to spin these ridiculous rises in their partakers.... try and make it all sound reasonable

  AND, oh yes, that God really has it all under control.

  This raises a question in my mind. Since most Dubs only know about the partakers in their own congregation, why does the WTS publish numbers of partakers that are on the increase? Why don't they just lie about it to maintain the illusion?

  The WTS has been known to do some pretty dumb things and often end up shooting themselves in the foot while pretending how "smart" they are, and flaunting their "spirit-directed" status to everyone.

  They MAY be just plain stupid.....or they may have something extremely devious up their sleeve, like pulling a rabbit out of a hat so everyone will FORGET how incredibly clever they can BE, at misdirecting people. It is an art they have perfected.....well.....almost perfected.

  The WTS is very numbers oriented... so the figures should be fairly accurate... I think this trend of increasing anointed numbers has the GB squirming and may lead to more "testing and sifting" (TM) of apostates... we can look forward to that, lol

  Are they still publishing the number of partakers? I wonder if they will this spring? They stopped publishing the stats for service in the KM.

  Coming from a church background, the Memorial always bothered me. It did seem like a rejection rather than a celebration. I agree it is a control mechanism, making a person think they are dependent on the annointed for salvation.

  AAG/Lance..Your hilarious!.............I remember 1 of the annointed figured out,the WBT$ only needed 2 letters..BS!!..LOL!!........He would stand outside assemblys with a bullhorn..LOL!!..No,I`m not kidding.....My best friends dad!!..Who kicked him out at 16............He forgives him..I don`t....................................
