My husband usually rode with another elder so they could get there early to take care of some drivel, so I had to find a ride, usually with the wife of the other elder, and her kids. But I had to get up really early to make the lunches and pack them into the bag. Then we had to stay late to clean our area-generally vacuuming.
Oh, yes, had to wash and vacuum the car, get the suits cleaned, new clothes, books assembled, etc. so as not to bring reproach........
Also, sometimes there was no place to sit for lunch after searching for the lunch container and going upstairs. They did have a lovely piece of property-don't know why they couldn't put trees in-looked so barren.
There are many, many people there that I know, I'm sure.
