"For better, for worse, in sickness and in health" perhaps.
This is precisely why, in the end, he might not be reimbursed for his kidney. It was a gift.
If he wins a settlement, it might set a bad precedent for future organ donations.

When I was reading your post I was wondering how it was that you gave your wife your heart and your still alive and then ten year years later you gave her your kidney. So I am pondering , either you have a mechanical heart or you mean that you gave your heart in the way of love. And that love caused you to give your wife you kidney. What an act of love and you are one of the most alturistic persons I have ever come across.
Then she humiliates you be playing around with the therapist. That must of really hurt. How terrible selfish of her part. Here you gave part of your body and then after she is well she slaps you in the face as it were.
I can feel the anguish inbetween your lines. I can't recall if you said you had children or not. It is not a nice thing to do to anyone.
This fling with the therapist could come tummbling down, and your wife may get really hurt, just as she has hurt you. Whatever caused her to do this may be a result of all the touching in therapy. It isn't the first time women have fallen for their therapist. and vice versa.
I feel bad for you. I hope that you have a good lawyer and that you will some how receive some recompense for what she has put you through.

I don't get the indignation. When you give someone an organ, you don't expect anything in return. Marriages don't always work. The fact that he would demand payment for the kidney or the kidney back illustrates a prime reason why she left him in the first place. I feel no sympathy for the butthole.
