Purps: Thanks so much for the wonderful youtube links. I personally don't think many of these people don't appreciate good music. It may well be that they are in such a hurry to get to work that they don't allow themselves the pleasure to stop and listen. It's a very sad comment on North American society especially.
I agree that there are many people that judge you in the way you're dressed. I'm sure many of us have experienced going into a store dressed in jeans and being ignored, falsely thinking that you couldn't possibly afford to shop there. I feel more sorry for these judgemental people; that they can't see beyond the clothes, and maybe see a very interesting, talented and/or loving person.
Music is such a wonderful thing. It's one of the things I am so thankful to my mom for; an appreciation and love for classical music.
Here's my contribution: jacqueline du pre http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LjWV5rWaSWE&feature=related This woman played the cello like it was a part of her body. She was incredible.
I loved this next one.
Farkel: take note of what Metha said at the end: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LDRrugiqowc&feature=related You need to lighten up.
