Unlike the Cavs, we have more than one guy on our team, what would happen to the Cavs if Lebron went down? Or the celtics if they lost KG? Also you might have failed to see the LAKERS beat down the Cavs last night, you see we have a good team and a deep bench, and if we get to take the Celtics on our way to a parade, fantastic, if not we'll gladly take down the Cavs or anyone else that stands in the way of another banner at Staples, I'll even save you a spot for the parade.
Personally, I hate the arrogance of Kobe and company although he's a great player. You must've been shocked when LA lost to the Celts last year (when it really counted).
Understatement, I fucking cried for hours and was sad all summer, I still can't watch that game, nor do I want to. Kobe is full of himself but I guess you can afford to be when you've won back to back to back Championships and have a gold medal. Last year was a bad loss but we were missing a few key players, Drew is back, Pau is at his right position and Ariza is looking fantastic, plus the Machine is starting to get back in it, I think we are good to go.
Pau is smooth but honestly, the team looks like girly men. All show.
I think the Lakers have always been showy, Hollywoodish. That's ok but this team seems so fem.
Listen, I'll take girly men over the fugly Celtics, I mean Rondo, hello! Ohhh and Sam Casell, he looks like something out of Space jam and the other one looks like something out of Lord of the Rings. And Min they might be "Hollywoodish" but can you blame them? They play in Lis Angeles! And being Hollywoodish as you put it has never stopped them from getting banners, it wont stop them now!
The past teams with Worthy & Magic, they didn't "look" like that. And yes, Casell is one fugly thing! Real fugly. But we still have more banners and don't get depressed this summer too.
But of course you wont get depressed, after years of sucking, you just get used to it, heehee.
