anyway, in my city if your alarm goes off with no intruder ( in other words a false alarm), the police have the ability to fine you.

How I wish that all active, non-brain dead JW's, would read these posts. This topic is one
of the best that I have read yet. I do believe that most JW's are filtering out what they
are taught, and give lip service while at the meetings and then secretly do what they
want.

I would say that harm was done. If that happens too often, the next time they call alarm, people are going to assume that it's just camels and fail to prepare. Plus, each time their lives are put on hold for camels, time and value is wasted.

I'm sure the watchman liken themselves to the boy who cried wolf as well.
They are full of excuses to cover the own behind in every which way.
If there was a fire -it's a bit difficult to see how a raging fire is a false alarm.
