oooh I have many places that I want to visit, and yes they are all dream vacations.

** The whole of Italy, but especially they Tuscan countryside

** America - for a number of reasons, one of them being in Vista, CA

** China - I want to walk along that wall & experience a true culture shock

** Turkey - exotic & again a different culture

** Russia - for the vodka, the history

** Egypt - it's been tugging at my soul ever since I was a little girl

** Peru - again the history of the maiyans.

** north / south pole - would be awesome seatching for Santa in the north :)

** Some island - just so that I can soak up some island sun.

Many many other places.

Just thinking about a few places I've been which were awesome and I'd love to go back to. . .

Italy's by miles my favourite place, particularly anywhere in Tuscany

Knysna in South Africa

the Greek island of Kefalonia (certain parts)

also really like Canada: only been to Ontario but would love to explore the whole country.

Off to Hong Kong and Bali next month - can't wait!

1. Denali National Park, AK, USA. But not right now, sometime in June would be nice.

2. Ashes Hollow, Little Stretton, Shropshire, UK. Anytime.

3. Atholl Palace Hotel, Pitlochry, Perthshire, UK. Anytime.

4. Cyprus. To visit one of my dearest friends who moved there last year to be closer to his partner's family in Kuwait.

5. A really nice ski resort, with my best friends, in a top quality chalet where you could ski to the lifts, where there were never queues, or at least only short ones with no pushing and shoving in. Fresh snow every night and clear skies and sun every day, and no ice. And not being 40 weeks and 4 days pregnant. And a job to pay for it all.

6. New York, to see what it is like.

7. Yellowstone National Park.

In my dream vacation, I would take a year or two to visit as many UNESCO World Heritage Sites as I could.

I'm not booked yet but I'm going on or around the 17th of Feb. I'll (we'll?) be staying with a friend of mine in Hong Kong and then going to his place in Bali. Will be for about two weeks. I'll be flying from London. Do you want to meet up in Hong Kong or London?
