I find interesting that Wrobel's wife is still in Bethel. For what it's worth, if the marriage partner of a believing Bethelite becomes apostate and wants to leave but the Watchtowerite mate doesn't want to leave, that one is invited to remain in Bethel. I've heard of a few cases like that. In one case, the wife informed on her husband. She stayed after he was disfellowshipped and left. Or if the mate commits some sort of sin and is caught and asked to leave, the sinless husband/wife can stay there if they want to. Of course, circumstances differ and it depends on the case.
One young woman in the Writing Dept. whose husband was disfellowshipped for being a drunk, remained in Bethel after he was thrown out. In two other cases, the mates stayed at Bethel when their husbands ran off with other Bethelite women. In Wrobel's case, was he disfellowshipped? Usually, when one mate stays in Bethel and the other is outside, the one outside is disfellowshipped. Need more information because by Bethel standards, this situation is really odd, that is if he's still in good standing.
