yes purps i loved it! San Francisco and all up and down Highway 1 along the coast is beautiful and amazing. it was a good trip. OH the chocolate fctory was yummy.....hmmmm ghiradelli.....I did spend the time however with my JW parents. It was there idea of our last trip together as they foresee my departure from the JW community although they don't talk about it. It's been a rough couple of years since i initially joined JWD and i know i haven't posted a lot. Im a lurker...AKA i'm lazy.

I have a "worldly" girlfriend which has caused a bit of an uproar in my family. My dad being and elder and my mom being a all-in diehard. I love my family and feel no anomoysity towards them but there have been some tensions. I've been silent on my feelings toward the "truth" or hte lackthereof within the org. I've made it my goal to grin and bear it and keep the peace which has worked so far fairly well despite a few arguments with my father. He's the type that has an opinion on everything, a bit selfrighteous, but an overall nice guy. But he's completely duped my the WTBS, doesnt have a doubt in his mind that its the "truth". So he knows i "struggle with my faith" (aka i dont believe the BS) but he thinks its just a phase....wait wait wait....im off on a rant now.....sorry folks

Well yeah i'll post more later perhaps in a more appropriate page. You can probably see i got a lot on my mind.

I'm planning to spend a fortnight in the golden state. Any dumbass recommendations? Hidden treasures?

California is a natural treasure. You will enjoy it. The nutjob liberals generally only inhabit the cities where they can be kept under supervision.

Hamilcarr, where are you from? You are going to love California. You can actually have an intelligent conversation with people who have all their teeth, don't wear overalls, and are carrying a book that isn't the bible!
