  Satan persecutes people of the true religion so they potentially turn away from it. Satan persecutes people of false religion so that they think it's the true religion.

  It's really a win-win situation.

  Satan goes after everybody!..But..He attacks JW`s the worst...............Thats how JW`s know they are the one and only true religion!..Thier lives suck..The world is out to get them..Most are in poor health..Most are poorly educated..Most work dead end jobs..And..They all wait for the New System and Die!!......Whats not to like?!...............................Jehovah`s Witness`s are the fastest growing religion on the planet!..Have`nt you seen the line ups to get into a Kingdom Hall?!............................................

  Things are so easy to answer with WT vision only.

  Satan keeps the whole world distracted from seeking the real truth.
  He keeps everybody busy with materialistic goals or with woes.
  People suffer from human weaknesses as well as Satan's attacks, because
  we are so far from perfection. Satan is not automatically preying on innocent
  children who are attacked (by pedophile elder or by disease).
  
  Much of the widespread suffering (say- GENOCIDE) is caused by the governments
  and imperfections of men trying to do things without God's guidance.

  Satan also wants to keep those "in the truth" doubting, so they wonder why
  all the innocent and good and evil suffer together. If people saw only JW's
  suffering because of their goodness and (self) righteousness, then more than
  7 million would recognize that these are God's people and join them for the
  short time of suffering and eternity of slavery service to God.

  Now pardon me while I gag.

  Easy--because Satan isn't the one that is really persecuting people. Jehovah is the one persecuting people, and He blames poor Satan for it.
