    Dub's = not-so-glaring mistake.

    This board moves in a nice pattern. I've been away for a year. This is the third time since I joined that someone has complained about spelling. Personally, I'm horrible at spelling and grammer. The first time I remember someone being a crankypants over everyone's spelling, he suggested adding the Google toolbar to your browser which has an auto spell check function for everything you type in a dialoge box. It was great, and served me well for years. I have since "upgraded" to Vista and can't figure out how to get the new version to work.

    Anyway, whining about other people's spelling is about as productive as trying to get an active JW to read C.o.C......why bother?

    Would you like to see my photo's?

    Sometimes apostrophes stand in for missing letters. Could it be that the apostrophe above stands in for the missing "graph"?

    Otherwise, right on!

    No. Some people could (and do) also write, "Would you like to see my photograph's?" and there would no missing letters to account for. Just one: photo, more than one: photos. Singular possessive: photo's - as in, "This photo's exposure is terrible." Compare that to this: "All of my photos are overexposed" - in this case we're talking about more than one. Plural possession of photo would read, "All of these photos' exposures are terrible."

    My spelling has always been bad and always will be. I could spell the same word four different ways in one paragraph and not notice. I seem to have a problem with anything to do with sequences and order, but maybe its a double edged sword because I do seem to have the ability to think randomly and off the wall in a way that many other don't. So maybe the mind that excels at precision and rules struggles with creativity.
